Location :

• St. Hubert, Quebec  
• Woodstock, Ontario
• Field setting 
• Frequent travel by personal vehicle within the assigned region, you will be reporting into specific offices, but we are flexible with location. You must have a safe driving history; a motor vehicle record history will be reviewed.   

Responsibilities : 

Our Dairy Consultants are responsible for interacting with clients and prospective customers, helping them understand how Cargill can provide solutions for them and improve their profitability. 

Throughout your summer with us, you will be given extensive and ongoing training in the areas of nutrition, animal husbandry and sales. You will be using the latest computer technology and maintaining a computerized client database. You will be involved in specific market-based projects designed to help support on farm monitoring of production performance

Principal Accountabilities:  

• Responsible for a summer project to lead, organize, and complete.
• Shadowing or participating in ride-a longs with consultants. 
• You will also gain exposure to functional parts of business.  

Qualifications : Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animal Science, Ag Business, or related

Skills : 

• Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment
• Ability to work in environmental conditions where there is a potential exposure to sun, wind, rain, pollen, dust, and insects
• Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance
